East China Normal University

Directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, it is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The school was founded in 1951 and ranks among the national "Double First-Class", "985 Project" and "211 Project". It is a university approved by the State Council to establish a graduate school and is an independent review unit for degree authorization.
