The history of the college can be traced back to 1962. Over the past 50 years, it has trained more than 300,000 talents from all walks of life and has been widely praised by the society. In December 2009, the college passed the talent training evaluation of the Ministry of Education with excellent results. In April 2020, it was identified as a model higher vocational college in Guangdong Province by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education.
